据瑞典国家电视台SVT援引挪威NRK报道，研究人员相信，他们已经在孕妇身上发现了可追溯到2019年12月的抗体。
这项研究的负责人Anne Eskild教授说，这一发现改变了新冠状病毒大流行的历史。
据NRK报道，欧洲的第一个新冠肺炎病例出现在2020年1月27日，是在法国发现的，而在挪威，直到同年2月24日才发现这种病毒。
挪威Akershus大学医院的研究人员现在认为，他们通过2019年12月储存的血液样本，检测到了新冠感染阳性的结果。也就在当年同月，中国武汉爆发了新冠肺炎疫情。
Anne Eskild教授说：“这一发现太令人惊讶了。我们真的没想到新冠病毒这么早就来到了挪威。”
