据SVT 报道，瑞典卫生部表示，新型冠状病毒的英国变种在瑞典所有地区的传播都在加剧。虽然这种病毒变异的发展是一个自然而然的过程，但它可能会对瑞典第三波感染造成影响。
本周四，瑞典卫生部公布的有关统计数据显示，新冠病毒英国变种在一些地区的感染具有相对的普遍性。在Gävleborg，据信第6周感染的患者中有四分之一是感染了英国病毒变种。除此之外，感染加剧的趋势还发生在 Skåne, Västmanland 和 Örebro。
卫生部发言人称，目前还不确定疫苗对病毒新变种到底有多大的作用，而且阻止英国变种病毒的传播，没有什么特殊的、比控制其他新冠病毒更多的控制措施。
