据路透社报道，有关官员周日表示，中国加快了新冠肺炎疫苗的接种速度，大约一周内就完成了1000万剂疫苗的接种。目前，正在考虑根据不同国家的疫苗接种状况和病毒的传播情况来实行不同的签证政策。
中国国家卫健委发言人在新闻发布会上说，截至周六，已接种了7496万剂疫苗。这比3月14日的6498万有所增加。
据官方媒体和一位高级卫生顾问说，中国的目标是到今年年中为14亿人口中的40%完成疫苗接种。
中国正在考虑针对不同国家的疫苗接种进度和病毒传播情况，在签证签发、航班和入境人数控制方面采取差异化政策。
中国疾病预防控制中心副主任冯子健表示：“目前我们并不免除接种疫苗者的检测和隔离措施。“
但他表示，中国将关注疫苗护照开发方面的国际进展，并可能在国内人口达到高免疫水平后再调整有关措施。
工业和信息化部官员毛俊峰表示，中国全年的疫苗生产完全可以满足全国的需求。他说，包括玻璃瓶和注射器在内的疫苗生产材料供应相对稳定。
中国已经批准了四种在中国本土研发的疫苗。由中国科学院微生物研究所研制的第五种疫苗上周被批准紧急使用。
