据路透社报道，俄罗斯总统普京近日表示，美国认为自己“强大到足以”威胁其他国家而不受惩罚的想法是错误的。他说，正是这个错误的想法导致了前苏联的垮台。
普京是在周五晚间的新闻发布会上谈到美国对莫斯科的制裁时说这番话的。
“我们听到来自国会和其他方面的威胁。这些都是在美国国内政治程序的背景下完成的。”
他说：“这样做的人可能认为，美国有如此强大的经济、军事和政治力量，可以不受惩罚。这没什么大不了的，他们就是这么想的。”
普京表示，这种行为让他想起了苏联。
“帝国的问题在于，他们认为自己足够强大，可以犯一些错误。可以贿买他人，欺负他人，与他人做交易，给他人项链，用战舰威胁别人。认为这些做法能够解决所有的问题。但是问题是会积累的。当这些问题再也无法解决的时候，这一刻就会不期而至。”
据华盛顿方面透露，白宫和克里姆林宫表示，拜登和普京将于6月16日在日内瓦会晤，届时将会讨论“全方位的紧迫问题”。
