2021年2月1日晚上7：30，位于Nässjö外Anneberg的一所房子失火，在被火烧的房子里发现一人死亡。
周五（2021年2月5日）上午，一名16岁的男孩被Eksjö地区法院以涉嫌谋杀和纵火罪批准逮捕。
检察官Heléne Thomasson表示，因有移走证据的风险，且犯罪嫌疑程度较高，所以申请逮捕了这位16岁的少年。
检察官对SVT记者表示，该少年否认自己犯了任何罪行，但是他承认火灾发生时就在现场。
火灾后被发现的女性死者身份尚未完全确定，但根据检察官的说法，没有迹象表明她不住在这所房子里。
检察官告诉SVT，死亡原因还没有完全确定，但根据初步结果，该女子在火灾发生时还活着。
在火灾发生当天，这名女子曾报警称，她受到了一群年轻人的骚扰。根据检察官的说法，可以确定的是，现被捕的16岁少年与另外两名年轻人白天都在这名女子的家里。
另外两名年轻人周二被捕。但后来发现嫌疑程度较弱而被释。目前，仍系接受调查的嫌疑人。
