奥地利总理库尔茨周日表示，他对俄罗斯和中国的疫苗在奥地利生产持开放态度，只要它们得到了欧盟的批准。
他告诉德国《星期日世界报》:“这与尽快获得一种安全的疫苗有关，至于谁研发的，就不要介意了。”“如果俄罗斯和中国的疫苗获得批准并计划在欧洲生产，奥地利肯定会将生产资质提供给相应的国家公司……与其他国家的疫苗制造商一样（的待遇）。
库尔茨还表示，如果俄罗斯疫苗获得批准，他自己也将做好接受这种疫苗的准备。“唯一重要的是它们的有效性、安全性和快速可用性，而不是地缘政治斗争，”他说。
最近几周，俄罗斯与欧盟的关系因克里姆林宫的主要反对派阿列克谢•纳瓦尔尼入狱而受到影响。
德国总理默克尔之前对俄罗斯和中国的疫苗也做过类似的表态。
世界上最著名的医学杂志之一——《柳叶刀》(Lancet)发表的数据显示，俄罗斯的疫苗具有很高的有效性。
目前，已获准在欧盟使用的有Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna 和 AstraZeneca.
